Late Summer Fashion – Choosing which colours to wear
Choosing which colours to wear can be a challenge – This Summer’s fashion has been bold, with bright colours – but not just with a “pop” of colour – but with a statement of colours – Wow!
Understandably, after coming out of the Pandemic, we all need an uplift. And why not start by bringing some brightness into our lives. This is demonstrated right across the High Street into our wardrobes.
We’ll all be watching to see what trends come out of London Fashion Week in September for next season.
Looking at the promos there seem to be so many heavily fringed garments.
1930s’ Charleston style dresses?? – Is this what we can expect for the next season? Will we all be ‘Flapping’ on the dance floor?
Or could it be the oversized blazer with shirt, tie, more like the Androgynous style of the 1980’s.
For those who can’t remember, or are far too young, here is an image for you to reflect and or to get inspiration.
I may suggest with this in mind it may be fruitful to find a few key pieces from the wardrobe of Dad, Brothers, Uncles. Maybe Mums and Aunties may still have original items tucked away in their wardrobe – Vinted.
Of course our trusty charity shops often have a treasure trove of delights – always a great way to recycle and give back to the charities and of course The Planet.
I’m sure there will be inspiration for all next Season as we are fast approaching the Autumnal months…
Plenty of layers will definitely be key as we all try and save on our energy bills…
Stay warm 🙂
